Project: Father's Day card for my Renaissance Man dad

Materials: Nectarines, pectin, mason jars

My dad is kind of a hipster. He grows his own organic vegetables, makes his own bread, and cans his own (delicious!) nectarine jam. Since it's currently the height of stone fruit season, he recently made a fresh batch of jam (which goes wonderfully on the aforementioned artisan bread). It was a logical subject for his Father's Day card, especially since it made for a lot of good puns.
