My dad has a giant vegetable garden in the backyard, full of a wide variety of produce. Of all the various vegetable life he grows, I think his favorite are the red beets. So, for Father's Day, I thought I would immortalize his favorite veggie on paper. Caitlin had the good idea of crumpling the leaves to make them more realistic. This is my first piece using texture, and I think it worked pretty well. Thanks for the idea, sister!
