Materials: Royal icing and butter spritz cookies.
So my sister's been studying in Spain for the past few months, and she gets back tomorrow. To celebrate her return to America, I made her patriotic cookies! The mitten and snowflake are the newest additions to my cookie cutter collection, courtesy of an impulse buy at Williams-Sonoma. They make GIANT cookies, which is great for me, since I can cover them with that much more icing. And although it's been a little chillier in LA lately, these cookie mittens are the closest I'll get to winter-wear.
